Norcent Introduces New Series Of LCD TVs

25 Series Models Offer Superb Image Clarity, Contemporary Design, and Excellent Consumer Value

Norcent, a marketer of high-quality, value oriented home entertainment and digital products, has added another series of widescreen TFT LCD TVs to its growing product lineup. The 25 Series features superb image clarity, contemporary design, and excellent value. The five models comprising the new Norcent 25 Series LCD TVs are: 20" (4:3) LT-2025; 20" (widescreen) LT-2025W; 27" LT-2725; 32" LT-3225 and 37" LT-3725 "We specifically designed our 25 Series of LCD TVs with the large-screen impact and styling that would enhance any home or office environment," stated Jennifer Long, Norcent CEO. "Combine wide viewing angles, high contrast ratios, flexible signal compatibility, and a host of features with great value and we believe consumers will find the Norcent 25 Series of LCD TVs to be an outstanding choice." Four of the five models have a widescreen (16:9) aspect ratio; 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i signal compatibility; and 1366 x 768 panel resolution. All models feature 16.7 million colors and nearly side-to-side wide-viewing angles in addition to component, S-video, and composite video inputs. A headphone output is included on all models. Other common features include: progressive scanning; three on-screen menu languages (English, French, Spanish); MTS stereo and SAP audio signals; closed caption; sleep timer; and V-chip control. All models are wall mountable (mounting equipment not included). TV reception for the 37", 32" and 27" models is provided by a built-in ATSC, Clear-QAM, and NTSC tuner. Each has an HDMI input that delivers uncompressed, crystal-clear digital video and audio via a single cable. SRS technology affords a virtual surround sound experience from the three models' two internal speakers. The LT-2725, LT-3225 and LT-3725 include both rear and side composite and S-video inputs; two component video inputs; four audio (L/R) inputs; and digital audio outputs (SPDIF). Each has a10w x 2 speaker system built in. Estimated street price for the new Norcent 25 Series LCD TVs are: LT-2025, $339.99; LT-2025W, $399.99; LT-2725, $659.99; LT-3225, $799.99 and LT-3725, $1,149.99.
