Dynaudio will launch of an all-new product range during the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Complementing its high-performance Home Systems Hi-Fi loudspeakers, its benchmark setting Professional recording studio monitors, and its elaborate Automotive mobile audio sound systems for select car manufacturers, Dynaudio unveils its next product category: Multimedia. MC stands for Multimedia Components and is a brand new, very discrete product line that affords the renowned Dynaudio sound quality at work, via media player or even with computer- and video games. The possibilities for use are amazingly versatile, such that MC will represent a new standard of high definition sound reproduction for multimedia applications in the future. The first Dynaudio Multimedia product is the MC 15, a compact active loudspeaker designed to accompany PCs, video game consoles or MP3-players. The MC 15 is therefore not a “simple“ active Home Systems loudspeaker, but rather an entirely new multi purpose high quality audio device for a new audience. It realizes the characteristic Dynaudio authentic fidelity, a level of performance that has previously not been experienced in the applications for which the MC 15 is intended. Dynaudio’s CES exhibit will be in Booth # 20662 of the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall between January 8-11, 2007, where the company will have the MC 15 on active display in various multimedia applications (computer, gaming, and mp3). A matching multimedia subwoofer, the Dynaudio Sub 250 MC, will also be unveiled at CES and be on active display in the Dynaudio exhibit. The MC 15 will be priced at $1299 per pair, while the SUB 250MC will be priced at $1000 each. Both models are slated to begin shipping in March 2007.
