Furman Brings Elegant New Design With Enhanced Noise Reduction And Performance To Reference Series

January 12, 2007

Furman Sound, a world-leading provider of AC power management solutions, today announced a refined new look and enhanced features for its Reference Series power conditioners. The bold yet elegant new designs feature smooth contours of black steel and silver brushed aluminum complemented by clear blue LED lights. New "dual screen" technology adds greater noise reduction for increased performance. The new model Reference Series units will be designated with a letter "i" at the end of each model number to differentiate them from the original series. The new family of power conditioners features the same uncompromising level of performance customers have come to expect from Furman. However, in addition to the technologies which made the original so popular, such as Discrete Symmetrically Balanced Power, Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT) and virtually non-sacrificial surge suppression, the IT-Reference 15i and IT-Reference 20i have been optimized with a new "Dual Screen" technology which provides greater noise reduction for the clearest audio and images. "We are very excited about the fresh look and enhanced features of our Reference i-Series power management products," said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Furman and Panamax. "We are providing our customers with a more refined, elegant design that will complement any home-theater system. And the newly designed units offer the same or greater levels of protection and noise reduction that our customers rely on." Furman's newly designed and technologically enhanced Reference i-Series will be debuted at CES this winter in Las Vegas at the Marriott Residence Inn across from the Las Vegas Convention Center, and will begin shipping in February. The original Reference products will still be available while supplies last.
