Richard Gray’s Power Company Announces Winners Of 2006 Dealer Awards

Richard Gray’s Power Company recently announced winners of their 2006 dealer Awards, given to the top domestic and international distributors and sellers of their premier power management products. The appropriately named Megawatt and Gigawatt Awards are presented to those who have achieved the highest sales figures in their respective international and domestic markets, while the Kilowatt Awards go to those dealers who have demonstrated the most significant growth in sales for 2006. Award plaques were presented to the top dealers at RGPC’s Treasure Island suite during CES 2007 and the recipients will also be honored in upcoming issues of Richard Gray’s “Gray Matter” dealer newsletter. The annual Share the Passion award, given by President and Co-Founder Richard McCarthy, this year went to RGPC’s best salesman in the country, Alan C. Neubauer (aka the Audio Elf) of The Stereo Exchange. In addition to the best dealers, awards were presented to dealers who have exhibited the greatest growth over the past year earning them the Kilowatt Award and the right to be called “Most Improved Dealers.” These integrators have all demonstrated a 50% or higher increase in overall sales from the previous year showing a dedication to top lining power management products that RGPC is compelled to reward. Share the Passion award winner, Alan C. Neubauer said, “I use Richard Gray power delivery products in every demonstration I give to customers and in my own home. Selling power management requires proof of value and I do this for everyone by simply showing the difference in performance with and without RGPC products plugged in. Whether it’s an AV novice or an educated skeptic, customers can’t deny the improvements they are hearing and seeing so it’s just a matter of whether they want showroom quality performance from their personal system.” RGPC’s Chief Operating Officer Rick Komendera said, “Part of the RGPC mission is to support and show loyalty to our dealers, and the award program serves that very purpose. We understand the dealer network is our lifeblood so rewarding those who have put a premium on RGPC power management and its benefits is essential to achieving our mission.” Gigawatt winners for 2006 saw four of the five awards go to export distributors in the Asian marketplace, a first for RGPC since they started the recognition program. Gigawatt award winners included: Daniel Jacques – Plusrison, Quebec, Canada; Malcolm Ong - Ong Radio International PTE LTD, Singapore; John Yew - CMY Sound & Vision, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Regenno Lee - Cougi Yai Trading Co. LTD., Tapei, Taiwan; and Winky TSE - Richcom Audio Video Co. Ltd, Central Hong Kong.
