Halcro Ships SSP100 & SSP80 Processor Software Updates

The much-anticipated Halcro SSP100 and SSP80 processor update has recently been shipped to all Halcro Logic dealers. The update kit includes a 256MB USB memory stick with a two-meter male/male USB cable, for easy laptop hookup. The new software improves HDMI connectivity and offers several enhancements. "An important aspect of the design of the SSP100 and SSP80 processor is its ability to perform upgrades," says Jesse Walsh, Halcro Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Halcro processors are fully upgradeable via USB and RS232 ports, as performance enhancements become available. After months of development, a new software update is now available and is in the process of being delivered to all authorized Halcro Logic dealers. The update includes setup/save software, which allows you to save your processor settings to a computer as a backup file, remote control updates and enhancements, RS232 control files with the latest AMX and Crestron codes, and a quick setup guide. There are also updates in the firmware that improve HDMI connectivity, HDMI and component video performance, as well as improving the control of the set-up menu and video start-up."
