Westinghouse Digital Electronics, the fourth largest manufacturer of LCD TVs in the U.S.*, caps a record breaking year with the best selling LCD TVs in three separate size categories: 19'', 27'' and 37'' for 2006 **. According to Shenkan & Associates (S&A) LCD-TV tracking study for January through December of 2006, Westinghouse Digital consistently remained the top choice for consumers throughout the entire year with its quality production of innovative and unique product offerings. In addition to Westinghouse Digital's number one sales status in several categories, S&A also reports that the company was in the top four brands in the market with sales of its 32'', 37'', 40'', and 42'' LCD TVs, as well as its 42'', 46'' and 47'' 1080p monitors**. Westinghouse Digital was also the number one seller of LCD TVs in November 2006, per Deutsche Bank's TV LCD Industry Bulletin from December 2006. This further showcases the widespread trust consumers place in the respected Westinghouse brand during a crowded and hectic holiday shopping season. "Westinghouse Digital produces the best-in-breed LCD TVs and monitors, as 2006 has shown. With best selling TVs in three categories, consumers have consistently designated Westinghouse Digital the preferred choice with their wallets," states Rey Roque, Vice President of Marketing at Westinghouse Digital Electronics. "We will continue to provide superb products in 2007 that will further showcase our groundbreaking technology, novel design and affordable price points." Westinghouse Digital's robust lineup not only includes LCD TVs and computer monitors, but a full suite of LCD digital photo frames as well. With concentration solely on LCD technology, Westinghouse Digital is able to provide its consumers with unparalleled price points, as the company has no need to artificially inflate them without any competing technologies in production. Westinghouse Digital offers unique proprietary technology and enhanced design quality to ensure its TVs meet the demanding needs of consumers. Following the success of 2006, Westinghouse Digital is expanding its lineup in 2007 to continue its mission of exceeding customers' expectations with pre-eminent products. Such items that are set to debut include a new line of 1080p TVs; new personal sizes of LCD TV/DVD combo units; an increased suite of digital photo frames, including a large 14'' model; additional LCD computer monitors from 19'' to 24''; and more. "We want to continue to earn our customers' loyalty through our quality product line and constant innovation," continues Roque. "Our plan is to build on the success of 2006 to make 2007 even better."
