CEA Announces 2007 Mark Of Excellence Award Winners

Awards Recognize More than 20 Industry Leaders in Custom Electronics

March 14, 2007

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA(R)) announced the winners of the 2007 Mark of Excellence Awards, presented by CEA's TechHome Division. The winners were honored at an awards dinner on Friday, March 9 in Orlando, Florida, during the 8th annual Electronic House Expo Spring 2007 (EHX). According to CEA's Annual State of the Builder Survey, as buyer demand goes up, builders rely heavily on custom technology installers. The study also found the majority of builders believe the home technology market has a positive impact on builder revenue and remains important to the successful marketing of new homes. CEA's Mark of Excellence Awards honor these industry leaders in custom electronics products, services and installations, who are instrumental in changing the shape of the connected home. Industry trend setters were honored in three categories - Supplier, System Integrators and Training and Support Programs.
