Westinghouse Digital Names John Mcalpine Chief Financial Officer

Westinghouse Digital Electronics, the fourth best-selling manufacturer of LCD TVs in the U.S., according to The NPD Group's retail tracking service*, announces that John H. McAlpine has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). McAlpine comes to Westinghouse Digital with over 20 years of finance, operations and administration experience and expertise with international corporations. As the CFO, McAlpine is responsible for all global Finance and Accounting, Human Resources and Administration and Information Technology operations at Westinghouse Digital. “Westinghouse Digital is proud to welcome John McAlpine to our award-winning team as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, McAlpine held the title of Executive Vice President, CFO and Director at Targus Group International, Inc. (Targus) from 2002 to 2006. In this role, McAlpine rebuilt an effective global finance and administration management team to support this $500 million worldwide market leader of notebook carrying cases and accessories. Before joining Targus, McAlpine was the Vice President and CFO of AmerisourceBergen Drug Company, a $36 billion pharmaceutical distributor from 2000 to 2002. McAlpine has also held senior financial roles for Pioneer Electronics, Merisel and Westec Security Group.
