Soyo Announces 47-Inch LCD HDTV

Multifunctional With True HDTV Picture Quality

SOYO Group Inc. (OTCBB: SOYO), a leading global provider of computer, consumer electronics and broadband telecommunications products, today introduced a 47-inch flat panel LCD HDTV, the first model in its line to offer full HDTV compatibility with the highest 1080p display resolution. SOYO new 47" Onyx Series LCD TV features Full HD 1080p with Picture in Picture, NTSC and ATSC tuners, a native resolution of 1920 X 1080, 8ms gray to gray response time and a dynamic contrast ratio of 2400:1. The Onyx 47" LCD TV standard features include cinematic 16:9 aspect ratio and a 178 degree viewing angel, with a host of inputs including two (2) HDMI inputs, and two (2) 10 watt stereo speakers mounted on the bottom of the screen. The MSRP is $1899 and the product will ship in April. SOYO will also be offering a complete line of HD accessories including a new premium line of home theater furniture, it's Dragon brand of home theater cables, and wall mounts, and a new line of 5.1 speakers. The goal is to offer a complete solution which encompasses a full line of HD accessories from speakers to wall mounts. This combination of a single source provider of consumer and computer electronics to the reseller channel further separates SOYO from the pack. SOYO will also make available its 3 year S.A.F.E extended warranty program. The 47-inch Onyx Series is now the biggest LCD TV in the SOYO line. SOYO's LCD line extends from desktop LCDs starting at 15.4 to LCD HD home theater TVs at 47-inches. Other standard features on the SOYO 47-inch Onyx THDTV include: -- High-definition native resolution 1920 x 1080 panels and a fast 8 ms gray-to-gray response time ideal for fast-action viewing. -- Featuring bottom mounted speakers that can serve as a center channel. The bottom mounted speakers also decrease the overall size of the LCD so it fits in more furniture solutions. -- Supports two (2) native 1080p input and is designed to ensure superior clarity of lower-resolution standard analog TV channels, high-definition digital programs, VHS tape content and DVDs. -- Built-in dual ATSC and NTSC combination tuners provide convenient viewing of high-definition over-the-air broadcast and cable digital programs and standard analog broadcast and cable channels. -- Dynamic contrast ratio of 2400:1, a cinematic 16:9 aspect ratio, and 178-degree viewing angle. -- Versatile connectivity options include PC compatibility 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz through HDMI and VGA, and video compatibility through multiple HDMI with DHCP (2), HD/SD component via RCA component (2) and VGA (1), composite (1), and S-Video (1) inputs. -- MSRP: $1899 -- Will be available for order through custom installation specialists plus select regional retailers.
