Silicon Optix, the leader in high-performance programmable video processors, announced today that Syntax-Brillian Corporation is introducing a 65" 1080p LCD HDTV aimed at the ProAV/home theater market utilizing the state-of-the-art Silicon Optix Realta HQV® video processor. Designated the Olevia™ 665i, the product is the company's first offering of an LCD HDTV larger than 50" in North America and is the first large area display to utilize the HQV processor. HQV’s deinterlacing delivers the sharpest, most detailed images possible by employing per-pixel motion-adaptive algorithms and a sophisticated, multidirectional diagonal filter that ensures video free from jagged edges.
