Sensio Is Awarded A Significant Contract In The Middle East For The Integration Of Its All-New 4D Immersium Theatre

June 20, 2007

SENSIO Technologies Inc. (“SENSIO”) (TSX Venture Exchange Inc.: SIO), the inventor of the SENSIO® 3D technology, has just received its first order for IMMERSIUM, its all-new high-definition 4D theatre launched last November at the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions Show in Atlanta. This first IMMERSIUM will be fully operational by December 2007 to visitors of GONDOLAINIA indoor theme park inside VILLAGGIO MALL located in Doha – Qatar. The agreement was concluded after the unveiling of the IMMERSIUM experience which was the highlight of the last IAPPA show with its image quality and operational reliability made possible by the SENSIO® 3D technology. SENSIO stood out against strong international competition from China, Italy and Austria, therefore putting Quebec’s expertise in the specialized 3D projection market front and center. “The exceptional image quality provided by the SENSIO®PRO 3D HD immediately won us over. Accessibility combined with the ease of integration and operation were also very convincing”, states Michel Koborsi, Project Manager for FUN FAIR CO. This contract between SENSIO and FUN FAIR CO. covers the turnkey purchase and installation of an IMMERSIUM 20s. The fully integrated 4D theatre solution includes the video server, the SENSIO®PRO 3D HD processor, projectors, the screen, the sound proofing system, glasses, moving seats as well as preliminary site plans. IMMERSIUM, available in models 20, 50 and 100, is designed for rooms of 5 to 200 people, thus meeting the requirements of specialized 3D projection in theme parks, attractions, museums and corporate presentations. “SENSIO decided to tackle the 4D attraction market, since we were convinced that the technologies and know-how developed for the consumer mass market would give us a significant competitive edge in this high growth-potential sector”, indicates Richard LaBerge, SENSIO’s Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer. “We are very proud of this agreement with FUN FAIR CO., the first concrete result of our development strategy, which confirms our competitiveness in this new market, in line with the company’s business plan.” SENSIO Partners with Industry Leaders To provide IMMERSIUM with the reliability and robustness needed from the theme park and museum industry where operating conditions are often arduous, SENSIO chose the best components available on the market and partnered with industry leaders. For instance, Barco, a world leader in visual display systems for a wide range of simulation, virtual reality, and presentation applications, provided the projection solution. MDI Cinema, a specialized 3D screen maker, MediaMation for robust moving 4D seats and show control along with nWave Pictures, a 3D/4D attraction movie producer and distributor, were all selected for their exceptional products. “Our engineering team performed research and technical trials on all system components in accordance with very specific criteria which were established based on our significant stereoscopic expertise. Therefore, the hardware selected meets our highest quality standards”, states Richard LaBerge. IMMERSIUM builds on SENSIO’s know-how and reliability, combined with the distinctive expertise of its components, to offer immersive experiences that strongly appeal to senses and emotions.
