One the eve of the Home Media Expo in Las Vegas, The DVD Acquisition and Development Group, Inc., the parent company of DVD International (DVDI), has announced the coordinated release of its entire HDScape™ line on Blu-ray Disc on October 30, 2007. HDScape™, which is already the most popular line of scenic high definition discs on HD DVD, is bringing its unique programming to Blu-ray Disc, in large part, due to the great demand from the Blu-ray community. The Richard Diercks Company, Inc. (RADCO) has been selected as the authoring house for all of the Blu-ray titles, it was announced. “Since its inception almost one year ago, HDScape™ has become the premier source for scenic high definition content that turns any HDTV into a beautiful work of art. Now is the ideal time to bring our library to the Blu-ray community, so that they can experience just how beautiful high definition artwork can be,” said David Goodman, President of The DVD Acquisition And Development Group. Included in the HDScape™ Blu-ray library is the top-selling HDScape™ Sampler Disc (SRP $6.95), which has been a constant best seller since its HD DVD release in early 2007. Featuring samples from the entire HDScape™ lineup, the Blu-ray version of the HDScape™ Sampler will differ from the HD DVD version in that it will not contain a standard definition side.
