GalleryPlayer announced its new broadband service for cable partners at the CTAM 2007 Summit in Washington, DC. This new GalleryPlayer broadband service is an extension of GalleryPlayer’s current partnership with existing cable providers. In addition to viewing GalleryPlayer’s HD programming on digital cable, viewers can directly purchase and download images to their PCs from their provider’s homepage. The cable partner will brand the service, which will be operated and maintained by GalleryPlayer. GalleryPlayer’s cable partners can also promote existing HD offerings through this new branded service, while at the same time creating an additional revenue stream. It gives added value to the two key parts of the coveted “triple play”: digital cable with HD and broadband. “Cable subscribers want to be able to own what they see on TV. GalleryPlayer broadband for cable enhances our current cable offerings to allow viewers direct access to a wide range of high quality HD image downloads,” said President and Founder of GalleryPlayer, Paul Brownlow. “Now our cable partners can take advantage of GalleryPlayer’s expertise within the ever-expanding HD market to further optimize revenue streams and draw consumer attention to their signature services.” With hundreds of collections and the largest library of HD imagery ready for broadcast, GalleryPlayer’s broadband service expands the Company’s existing delivery methods which includes distribution in select hotels, on Blu-ray disc this fall, and on SD memory cards in partnership with Panasonic for viewing on their entire line of 2007 Plasma and HDTVs.
