InFocus Goes Green With Limited-Time Technology Trade-In Offer

Gives Customers Opportunity to Recycle Older LCD Projectors for $250 Rebate

August 30, 2007

InFocus Corporation (NASDAQ:INFS), the industry pioneer in digital projection technology, is pleased to announce a limited-time opportunity for businesses and educational institutions to trade in older, working LCD projectors for select, new InFocus DLP® Projectors and receive a $250 rebate in the process. How the InFocus Trade Up Program Works: Customers go online at http://www.infocus.com/TUP and enter the make and model of the working LCD projector that they would like to trade in. Second, customers purchase an eligible InFocus DLP® Projector model and simply follow the instructions provided online to send in their old LCD projector, along with proof of purchase of an eligible InFocus DLP® Projector. Our resale and recycling partner, Market Velocity, will validate the LCD projector is in working order and ship it on to the buyer or certified electronics recycling facility, then a rebate check of up to $250 is issued and mailed to the customer. The InFocus Trade Up Program is a fast, easy, convenient way for businesses and educators to own new, up-to-date InFocus DLP® Projectors. And, customers can also feel good about the fact their old LCD projectors are not going into a landfill. It’s the environmentally-friendly way for customers to recycle their outdated LCD projectors. Most brands of LCD projectors, except InFocus LCD projectors, qualify for this program. Please visit the InFocus Trade Up Program website at www.infocus.com/TUP for complete program terms and conditions. Availability The InFocus Trade Up Program, and limited-time $250 rebate offer for working LCD projectors, is available now through September 30, 2007 in the United States and Canada only.
