Nordost Releases New Magus Power Cord At CEDIA

Nordost is pleased to announce the introduction of a new power cable called MAGUS in their WYREWIZARD line. MAGUS is a very flexible cable which uses high strand count OFC conductors combined with Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament and extruded FEP construction technology. This revolutionary design combines ease of use with very efficient power transmission at high speeds by reducing insulation contact with the conductors by more than 80%. The WYREWIZARD MAGUS Power Cord will greatly improve the performance of display devices such as LCD, Plasma screens and Projectors, as well as DVD, CD players and amplifiers. Fitted with a high quality gold plated IEC connector, MAGUS will work with a very wide range of components. The MAGUS Power Cord is available with a either a straight or right-angled IEC connector and either a straight or right-angled US NEMA connector. This makes it ideal for use in difficult installation situations. The cable is available with US, SCHUKO, AUS and UK wall plugs.
