Nordost is pleased to announce the introduction of a new digital interconnect called SHAMAN DIGITAL in the WYREWIZARD line. The new SHAMAN DIGITAL is a dedicated 75 ohm impedance cable featuring Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology. SHAMAN DIGITAL is an affordable solution that offers superb performance in an audio /video system. Perfect for passing all digital formats, SHAMAN is designed to eliminate the effects of mechanical noise and resonances found in conventional digital signal leads. Utilizing Nordost’s proprietary Micro Mono-Filament and FEP extrusion technology, these cables are made to very exacting standards so that timing errors and jitter are eliminated. The unique construction creates a virtual air dielectric. The impedance tolerance of this cable is less than 1% of 75 ohms and features 60 microns of extruded silver over a high purity 99.9999% oxygen free copper (OFC) conductor. Each cable is terminated with impedance matched Gold plated RCA or BNC connectors.
