At the CEDIA Expo today, Pioneer brings to market two new stereo receivers, the SX-A6-J and SX-A9-J as well as the PD-D6-J Super Audio CD (SACD) player. The SX-A6-J and SX-A9-J along with the PD-D6-J incorporate proprietary sound processing technologies with shortened digital signal paths for undistorted, smooth music performance and maximum clarity. Pioneer outfitted all three audio devices with breakthrough engineering inside and out, utilizing hand selected parts and rugged construction developed to reproduce the full range of one's music collection resulting in clean, robust sound as the recording artist intended it be heard. Stereo Receivers Take Music to A New Level The SX-A6-J and SX-A9-J stereo receivers are built to deliver music that is as close to the original as possible by integrating a dual mono symmetrical amplification design that works to eliminate dominance of one channel over the other for an undistorted listening experience in stellar stereo sound. The commanding SX-A6-J and SX-A9-J receivers take advantage of a sophisticated internal construction developed to suppress any power supply reverberation allowing for a fuller, more open sound field when playing music with maximum power. The SX-A9-J takes it one step further with superior dual transformers that supply energy to each section of the amplifier for powerful sound with quick response for instant power needs. Sophisticated SX-A9-J Stereo Receiver The 70 watt two-channel SX-A9-J is meant for multi-format playback capability of everything from analogue records to new digital music files via an array of advanced connectivity options. Among the multiple audio terminals found in the SX-A9-J are a dedicated XM(R) Satellite Radio Connect & Play(TM) antenna (both sold separately; monthly subscription needed) as well as a USB input terminal to transfer PC audio files directly to the receiver. Compressed audio files are brought back to life with proprietary Sound Retriever that replaces small pieces of audio data often removed to reduce file size. The Elite stereo receiver features a stable, seamless chassis construction to significantly decrease any potential resonance that can negatively disrupt the unit's sensitive operation. It has a rigid under-base construction with stabilizing plate that further optimizes sound quality even when the unit is at full power. Distinctive SX-A6-J Stereo Receiver Audiophiles will appreciate the array of music entertainment options with the new Elite receiver. This two-channel 60 watt system also provides a dedicated XM(R) Satellite Radio Connect & Play(TM) antenna (both sold separately; monthly subscription needed). The unit's gold plated terminals ensure uninterrupted signal transfer from connected devices. With the system's Source Direct Mode, potential sound signal interference is further eliminated. Super PD-D6-J Music Player The two-channel SACD player utilizes twin Burr Brown converters to guarantee subtle nuances in music are reproduced to deliver enhanced linearity and distortion-free response. The system can playback SACD, CD, CD-R/-RW, MP3 and WMA compressed audio files. With Legato Link Conversion PRO music achieves a more natural music performance with minimal phase shifts by its unique capability to quadruple the sampling rate. By increasing the rate, a smooth playback is realized with nearly non-existent song judder. Additionally, Pioneer incorporates its exclusive Hi-Bit technology that helps attain a high resolution sound from even extremely minute signals providing clear, top notch audio from even extremely minute signals. The Pioneer Elite SX-A9-J and SX-A6-J stereo receivers will begin shipping in October.
