More Cool Ideas From Middle Atlantic Products: Newly Enhanced Rsh Series Custom Rackmounts Introduced At CEDIA 2007

September 11, 2007

Dedicated to proper thermal management throughout all aspects of enclosure system design and integration, Middle Atlantic Products today introduced its RSH Series Custom Rackmounts that include enhanced thermal management features at CEDIA 2007. Designed with direct feedback from custom residential integrators, the enhanced RSH Custom Rackmounts create a clean, finished look for enclosures that house non-rackmount components and provide advanced ventilation and installation features at no extra charge. Enhanced RSH Series Custom Rackmounts provide increased ventilation on the shelf sides, as well as the base, to promote optimized thermal management. The newly enhanced ventilation on all RSH Series Custom Rackmounts improves airflow while accounting for components that vent hot air to the sides. “Our customers’ clients have specifically requested rackshelves that account for components which vent to the side,” said Dean Wheelan, Application Engineer, Middle Atlantic Products. “The new design of the rackshelf side panels, as well as the base, accentuates an effective chimney effect within an integrated enclosure system and helps prevent heat build-up. In doing so, RSH Series Custom Rackmounts allow components to do what they really want: breathe easier.” RSH Series Custom Rackmounts assemble easily in minutes and include rear brackets to prevent mounted components from sliding back. RSH Series Custom Rackmounts are also available with clamp options that secure components to the shelf, for use in mobile applications or when transporting integrated enclosures to the jobsite. In addition, the newly enhanced RSH Series Custom Rackmounts feature new tie off slots at the rear of the shelf to allow for neat cable management. Shipping November 1, custom residential integrators can select from more than 8,000 custom cut faceplate dimensions to ensure a precise opening for the face of each component being mounted. Depending on the needs of the installation, the units can be ordered with a black brushed and anodized finish, silver brushed and anodized finish or black textured powder coat finish.
