Xantech Introduces Full Line Of HDMI™ Products

Xantech Corporation is introducing a new series of HDMI™ and HDMI-compatible products, the company announced today. The product series will include cables, switchers, splitters, extenders and boosters – everything needed to ensure the smoothly functioning distribution of content via HDMI. “The future is clearly HDMI,” said Graham Hallett, president of Xantech. “As a new technology, HDMI promises a quantum leap forward in the signal quality we can expect for distributed content. Xantech is committed to being on the forefront of that change.” The list of Xantech’s HDMI distributed video products follows: SWITCHERS 4 x 4 HDMI Switcher The HDMI4X4 Switcher from Xantech allows the interconnection of four sources to four different displays, with any of the four inputs distributable to any combination of the four HDMI output displays. The HDMI4X1 allows the user to switch easily between any four HDMI sources, while extending the range of HDMI compliant devices by equalizing the HDMI signal. Features an HDMI 1.3 pass-through, an HDCP pass through, and a Serial RS-232 remote port. Includes power supply and remote control. MSRP: $500 HDMI3X1 Switcher The HDMI3X1 Switcher by Xantech is designed to allow the routing of as many as three different HDMI sources to a single display. The HDMI3X1 allows the user to switch easily between any three HDMI sources, while extending the range of HDMI compliant devices by equalizing the HDMI signal. MSRP: $325 SPLITTERS Xantech also introduces two new HDMI splitters, the HDMI1X4, which connects up to four HDMI or DVI displays to one video source, and the HDMI1X2, which connects two displays to a single source. All signals are susceptible to attenuation and interference over long distances. The HDMIBOOST signal booster counteracts the effects of attenuation and electromagnetic interference, resulting in clearer video at the display, with fewer artifacts and lower signal distortion. Supports resolutions up to 1080p, 2K, and 1920 x 1200. No power supply required. MSRP: $250. POINT-TO-POINT HDMI/CAT 5 EXTENDER The Xantech HDMIEXTEND point-to-point extender extends high-definition displays up to 200 feet (60 meters) from the source at 1080i and extends high-definition displays up to 150 feet (45 meters) at 1080p. The extenders feature substantially improved compensation for cable skew. With the HDMIEXTEND, installers can separate AV equipment from the viewing room, resulting in a noise-free listening environment. Audio and video are transmitted digitally over CAT-5e cable for zero signal loss. Includes two, 100-240V power supplies: 5VDC, 20W max. and one 6-foot HDMI cable. CABLES HDMI Signal Booster Cable The Xantech HDMI Signal Booster cables are a copper cable-based solution with an integrated HDMI signal booster. The HDMI signal booster cables will offer the highest resolution possible and supports all resolutions up to 1080p.
