Brubaker Named Vice President Of Da-Lite Screen Company

The Da-Lite Screen Company, Inc. has named Blake Brubaker, CTS to the newly created position of Vice President of Sales for its North American operations. Mr. Brubaker will be responsible for leading and managing the company’s direct sales force covering the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, Mr. Brubaker will manage the company’s manufacturer’s representative sales group who call on the home theater market. “Blake brings a wealth of industry, product and Da-Lite knowledge to the position of Vice President of Sales,” commented Richard Lundin, Da-Lite Chairman and CEO, “As we approach our 100th year of operation, we are confident that Blake has the vision to help us make the next 100 years as successful as the first 100.” Mr. Brubaker most recently held the position of Systems Display Manager that included calling directly on audio visual consultants, account management, plus business and market development. “Blake is the embodiment of all the good things at Da-Lite,” according to Judith Loughran, Executive Vice President of Da-Lite, “We know that Blake has the experience and knowledge to make our sales team the most professional and strongest in the projection screen industry.” Mr. Brubaker began his Da-Lite career in 1993 as an Internal Sales Partner and was then promoted to Inside Sales Manager where his skills were quickly recognized. In 1997, Mr. Brubaker was named Director of Marketing, managing the company’s trade shows, print advertising and electronic marketing activities until 1999. Beginning in 1999, Mr. Brubaker served the company in the role of Director of Home Theater Sales, building his knowledge of the home theater market. In addition to his many sales and marketing accomplishments, Mr. Brubaker is the author of Da-Lite’s Angles of Reflection, a new series of industry white papers designed to foster knowledge and education about light and how it impacts the projection screen industry through practical application. Receiving his CTS certification in 2002, Mr. Brubaker has actively taught Da-Lite’s manufacturer training course held at InfoComm since 2001. Mr. Brubaker also serves as an Academy member of the InfoComm faculty and represents the interest of InfoComm exhibitors as the Exhibitor Committee Chairman during the past four years. Mr. Brubaker has served on the InfoComm Board of Governors since 2002.
