Paul Wiefels Appointed To Serve On Board Of Directors For Radiient Technologies

Emerging leader in wireless surround-sound technology selects world-renowned marketing leader to guide the company’s growth

Radiient Technologies, Inc., an emerging leader in wireless surround sound for the home entertainment market, today announced the appointment of Paul Wiefels, managing director of The Chasm Group LLC, to its board of directors. Radiient specializes in using new digital and wireless technologies – such as high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) and ultra-wideband (UWB) -- to develop innovative products for the home entertainment market. Mr. Wiefels brings a wealth of leadership experience to Radiient, having assisted technology-based companies and organizations over the past 15 years to achieve leading market positions through the development and execution of effective marketing and positioning strategies. His clients include global leaders in information technology and systems; biotechnology and biomedical instrumentation; and the emerging consumer technology sector. He is the author of The Chasm Companion, first published by HarperCollins in 2002 as a field book to Crossing the Chasm and Inside the Tornado, authored by Geoffrey A. Mr. Wiefels’ career began in advertising, where he serviced accounts in the retail, consumer packaged goods, and financial services sectors. Mr. Wiefels holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
