Digeo®, Inc., makers of the Emmy®-award winning Moxi® digital media recorder (DMR), today announced that it has received multiple accolades for its Moxi Multi-Room HD DMR. Moxi HD DMRs, which have always been recognized for providing a superior consumer experience and for their outstanding user interface, were awarded two prestigious "Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Awards" by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and a "Best of What's New Award" in the Home Entertainment category for 2007 by Popular Science magazine. The CEA "Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Awards" were awarded in the Multi-Room Audio/Video category and in the Video Components category. CEA gives these awards to products that have raised the standard of consumer electronics innovation. The honorees were officially announced on November 13, 2007 at the Pre-CES New York Press Preview and will be honored throughout CES in January 2008. Specifically, the Moxi Multi-Room HD DMR will be displayed among other honorees in the Innovations 2008 Showcase booth at CES. The Moxi Multi-Room HD DMR was also honored in the Home Entertainment category of Popular Science's 2007 "Best of What's New Award" and will be featured in the December issue of Popular Science, the magazine's most-read issue, along with other breakthrough products and technologies that represent a "momentous leap" in their categories. The award is given by the magazine's editors, who look back on the thousands of products they reviewed in the last year and pick the top 100 stand-out innovations.
