Optoma Introduces Next Generation Of The 1080p BigVizion Display

Optoma, a leading manufacturer of award-winning digital projection and display devices, introduced the next generation of 1080p BigVizion displays – a new professional installation version called the HDBV5100P. Utilizing a single-mirror system, the BigVizion HDBV5100P joins the family of BigVizion displays. The BigVizion HDBV5100P is ideal for the professional installation market including corporate and professional applications, and in just about any type of ambient light settings. The BigVizion displays have one of the slimmest depths for rear-projection displays, an estimated 30-inch depth for the 100-inch model. The BigVizion HDBV5100P comes with a DVDO professional grade video enhancement processor/scaler and Optoma’s proprietary light engine technology featuring Texas Instruments’ DLP DarkChip3™ chipset. The advanced video will convert all sources to 1080p resolution for dramatic improvement in color and detail. The display also features four (4) HDMI v1.3 inputs, Composite, Component and optional SDI/HD SDI for broadcast applications.
