TruAudio put more power into their line today with the release of their new 12 Channel, 6 Zone Amplifier, the DA-1260. This hybrid amplifier uses analog and digital technology to maximize performance and value in the diverse environment of whole house audio. TruAudio’s new amp was designed and engineered after studying the challenges of multi-room audio amplification and reviewing what the other amps were missing. The DA-1260 features a clean, smooth 60 watts per channel @ 8 ohms and 90 watts per channel @ 4 ohms. It includes features that allow configuration for a variety of applications including a 12v trigger, global inputs, pass-through inputs and bridging options. Individual sensitivity controls for each channel as well as a global sensitivity control allows you to customize each zone. There are multiple protection circuits to save on service calls due to unexpected power surges, etc. Each unit also features specially designed transformers that minimize unwanted heat build-up to ensure the long life of the amplifier. In addition, the speaker connections on each model are made quick and easy by using high-quality “phoenix connectors” that remove from the chasse for convenience. The sleek aluminum front panel with a black anodized finish looks great in every install, the low profile design saves space and each unit comes with rack ears in the box to make rack mounting a breeze. The DA-1260 has a retail of $1,800.00 and comes with a 5 year warranty. Full specifications are available at http://www.truaudio.com/products/amps-12.asp
