The latest Crestron® Isys® touchpanel, the TPS-6L, will be on display at EHX Spring 2008 booth #602. The built-in light sensor intelligently adjusts display and backlight brightness, providing integrators a truly unique touchpanel with unrivaled functionality. The TPS-6L features full-motion video, Cresnet communications, WAV file audio feedback, built-in microphone, an amplified speaker option; and with Ethernet connectivity, the TPS-6L significantly reduces graphic load times, especially in larger installations. Delivering residential dealers a powerful and easy-to-install touchpanel, the TPS-6L delivers a wide range of Crestron control features in a compact, aesthetically pleasing flush mount design that is ideal for any size installation. The TPS-6L light sensor can automatically adjust backlight levels according to room brightness and bezel color, so users experience optimal visibility under an array of lighting conditions. "The TPS-6L provides users with a multitude of style and video processing options," said Alex Villiard, Product Line Manager, Crestron. "The ease of the Ethernet connectivity allows users to seamlessly integrate this product into any Crestron environment. Dealers can provide control over external video sources, as well as home features such as lighting and HVAC systems all on one easy to use Crestron touchpanel." With its bright, high contrast 5.7" color touchscreen and 640 x 480 video window display, the TPS-6L enables installers to incorporate unprecedented touchpanel features, including full-motion video display from video servers, cable TV, or even security cameras, right on the touchscreen. The TPS-6L comes standard furnished with two front bezels, either with or without 12 programmable hard buttons. These optional pushbuttons are designed to align with fluctuating text and graphics on-screen, thus supporting context-sensitive menu functions such as lighting presets, channels, or digital media files. Optional custom engraving of the bezel is available, with a choice of solid or backlit text. The light sensor adequately emphasizes backlit text so that it is clearly visible under varying lighting conditions. For more information, visit booth #602 during EHX or www.Crestron.com
