June 8, 2008

Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high performance projection systems announced the promotion of two key associates within the company. Chuck Collins, formerly Southeast Market Development Manager, has been promoted to Vice President - Commercial A/V, and George Walter, formerly Home Cinema Market Manager, has been promoted to Vice President - Home Cinema. In their new positions, Collins and Walter will be responsible for managing all of DPI's sales and distribution efforts for the North American Commercial A/V and Home Cinema markets. Collins is a DPI veteran, as one of the company’s first associates when he joined the startup in 1997. With more than 20 years of experience creating sales and distribution channels in the large screen display industry, Collins has served a number of vital sales roles for DPI over the past 11 years. Among his many achievements, Collins secured a nine-year alliance with the Sundance Film Festival, establishing Digital Projection as the exclusive provider of digital projectors for the Festival’s digital programming. Collins stated, “As one of the original members of the sales team at Digital Projection, I’m looking forward to the new challenge of managing DP’s Commercial AV Channel to further expand the reach of our relationships, brand and product sales. Digital Projection is in a unique position in the marketplace and I am proud to be part of the management team that is assuring our growth is both robust and responsibly executed. Walter is also a 20+ year veteran of the display industry, having worked in product management for both General Electric and Barco before joining Digital Projection in 2000. Currently holding the Home Cinema Market Manager position, Walter has been an integral force behind DPI’s presence in the highest tier of the Home Cinema market. Utilizing his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, Walter has also been a key consultant in the product development of a wide variety of display sectors. Walter commented, “It's an exciting time for DPI in Home Cinema. We've been expanding our market share, and have experienced very healthy growth in both our product line and revenue. Supporting our growing number of dealers and reps in the Home Cinema market is our key objective, and we will be investing in their success through some very exciting innovations in 2008 and beyond.” According to Mike Levi, President of DPI: “Chuck and George have contributed nearly 20 years of their careers to Digital Projection, and are cherished members of our senior management team. During those years they have produced some amazing achievements for the company and for our customers.” Levi continued, “Being part of a startup in the highly competitive Commercial AV projection industry, and introducing our brand to a Home Cinema market where long-time suppliers were already entrenched, was not easy. Both challenges demanded that DP – the company, the products and the people – offer something dramatically different. With guidance from both Chuck and George, DPI focused on providing class-leading solutions, the highest level of business integrity and truly personal customer care. Those cornerstones have served our company well, and both Chuck and George consistently demonstrate these core values with every action they take. I am privileged to be working with such professionals, and honored to see them accept their new positions as Vice Presidents of DPI.”
