Solid Signal has introduced the first of many new product lines under the Solid Signal brand name. The first line is a series of HDMI 1.3b cables, the best High-Definition Multimedia Interface technology available on the market today.

Solid Signal is introducing the 1.3b technology as its standard to give consumers the best quality HDMI cable on the market and to ease confusion among customers trying to evaluate the best HDMI for their needs.

“HDMI creates new challenges for installers and consumers,” said CEO Jerry Chapman. “We receive an increasing number of calls each week from consumers who are trying to understand which HDMI cable best meets their needs. At Solid Signal, we felt that we were in a good position to offer customers the best, which today is the 1.3b cable, at a competitive price.”

HDMI 1.3b cables are able to transmit digital broadcasts with crisper picture, deeper color and perfect audio-video synchronicity than other HDMI cables. The cables connect to sources such as digital set-top boxes, DVD players, personal computers, video-game consoles and audio-video receivers.

“Demand for HDMI cables will grow in the coming years as the country prepares for the 2009 digital transition, when over-the-air television programming switches to a digital format,” Chapman said. The company is able to offer its HDMI 1.3b cables at competitive prices due to the firm’s volume and efficient distribution.
