Arcam Re-Vamps Two-Channel Offerings

Included in Arcam’s new range are the A38, A28, and A18 Integrated Amplifiers, the P38 Power Amplifier and the CD37 and CD17 CD Players. In addition to Red Book CDs, the CD37 plays SACDs decoded in two channels in their native DSD. Meanwhile, Arcam's DiVA range of AV products remains, and their Solo series will continue to deliver all-in-one audiophile music and movie performance. Improvements to these units include new chassis and cases from the FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) range. The FMJ housing incorporates a number of strategies designed to provide the quietest circuitry and lowest distortion. Liberal use of what Arcam calls “Sound Dead Steel” reduces resonances and prevents effects of micro-phonics and Arcam’s Stealth Mat Technology diminishes noise from EMF. “Astonishing sonic performance; outstanding specification, flexibility and build, truly brilliant in every sense.” * In addition, Arcam has extended the warranty from two years to five.
