July 2, 2008

Each year, the AV industry recognizes the Best AV Products for 2008. Together with its AV media partners, InfoComm International honors the best AV products in the industry. For 2008, InfoComm honored Da-Lite Screen Company with two awards. Media partner Systems Contractor News and InfoComm International awarded the Most Innovative Mounting Solution to Da-Lite’s Automated Confidence Monitor Stand. Launched in 2008, the Automated Confidence Monitor Stand is designed to add convenience and automation for a wide range of installations including worship facilities, entertainment, rental and formal presentation venues. The Automated Confidence Monitor Stand achieved the Best AV Product Award by besting entries from the highly competitive mount solution category. Designed and produced in Da-Lite’s manufacturing facility in Wichita, Kansas, the Automated Confidence Monitor Stand is the latest product in the Advance by Da-Lite line of projector and flat panel mounting solutions. In conjunction with Rental & Staging Systems magazine and InfoComm International, Da-Lite was awarded an additional Best Products of 2008 for its new Ultra Wide Angle fabric. Winning the coveted Best Projection Screen category demonstrates the ongoing commitment of Da-Lite to the AV industry. After almost 100 years, Da-Lite was founded in 1909, Da-Lite continues to lead the AV industry with innovations in projection screen fabric research and development. Da-Lite’s new Ultra Wide Angle fabric is a seamless, flexible 16 foot vinyl projection screen capable of producing 80 degree viewing half angles. The result is superior edge blending utilizing multiple projectors or wide format using short focal length lenses. It not only dramatically reduces the potential of hot spotting, it has achieved the rating for GREENGUARD® Certified Products and Children & Schools Certification for low-emitting audio visual equipment used in sensitive environments such as daycare, K-12 and healthcare facilities. Da-Lite congratulates the other multiple InfoComm 2008 Award winners; Barco, Crestron, Extron and Panasonic.
