Eastman Kodak Company today revealed an array of innovative and interactive products that give consumers exciting new ways to experience their photos and videos - from capture to viewing to sharing. The suite of High Definition (HD)-enabled products includes two new category introductions for the brand: the KODAK Theatre HD Player and KODAK Zi6 Pocket Video Camera. Additions to Kodak's award-winning digital camera and digital frame portfolios include the KODAK EASYSHARE Z1015 IS Digital Camera and KODAK EASYSHARE W-Series Digital Frames. KODAK Theatre HD Player Revolutionizing the way images and video can be enjoyed in HD, the KODAK Theatre HD Player is an interactive device that displays personal and web-based content on an HDTV, while wirelessly connecting to a household's private Wi-Fi Network. Able to display HD still images (16:9 Aspect Ratio) and video (720p) on a HDTV, the remote operated KODAK Theatre HD Player lets consumers relive their favorite, and even forgotten, memories through a HD slideshow, as well as edit and upload images and videos to popular online content sharing sites. Through unique partnerships with pioneers in photo sharing, such as KODAK Gallery and Flickr(TM) the KODAK Theatre HD Player provides consumers with easy and compelling ways to share pictures with friends and families. Additional partnerships with FrameChannel, a service of Frame Media, Inc., YouTube(TM) and RadioTime provide access to more than imaging content, offering an interactive and engaging multimedia experience. The KODAK Theatre HD Player is also compatible with USB drives and SD memory cards. KODAK EASYSHARE W1020 / W820 Wireless Digital Frames The latest in Kodak's highly-successful line of digital frames, the W1020 and W820 models, offer 800 x 480 high-resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio digital display sized 10-inch and 8-inch (diagonal) respectively. Perfect for any room in the home, the KODAK Wireless Digital Frames display images in HD format (16:9 aspect ratio). With the recent introduction of the Quick Touch Border, control of the frame has never been easier, allowing for simple operation with a touch or slide of your finger, while leaving the screen fingerprint and smudge-free. Boasting 512MB of internal memory, the frames can store up to 4000 pictures*, and even more pictures when using the two convenient memory card slots or by copying digital files from a digital still camera, home PC, or USB Jump Drive. Enhancing the Wi-Fi connectivity of the W1020 and W820 Digital Frames, consumers are now able to access more than just their memories via the frame. The Zi6 Pocket Video Camera is ideal for easily and instantly sharing personal video content. The dedicated ARCSOFT video software, included with the camera, allows consumers to quickly edit, personalize and share videos, and instantly upload them to video-sharing sites such as YouTube, from any computer. KODAK EASYSHARE Z1015 IS Digital Camera The high-zoom KODAK EASYSHARE Z1015 IS Digital Camera is equipped with intuitive functionality, perfect for the aspiring photographer who enjoys both automatic and manual control over their picture-taking experience. Boasting 10MP resolution and an impressive SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH 15x optical zoom and 28mm wide-angle lens, this versatile camera allows consumers to capture both long distances and wide-angle shots. The image quality of the Z1015 IS is further enhanced with its ability to take HD still images (16:9 aspect ratio) and video (720p at 30fps), which can be viewed on the camera's large 3-inch LCD screen. The Z1015 IS also features smart capture technology, which intuitively detects the particular scene being shot and automatically adjusts the camera's settings to capture the best still images possible. For greater detail in both highlight and shadow areas, the camera, while set in smart capture mode, will automatically and intelligently expose the image using KODAK PERFECT TOUCH processing. With best-in-class picture capture speed (less than0.2 sec.), optical image stabilization, face detection and high ISO settings (up to 6400), the Z1015 IS allows consumers to capture brighter, clearer shots in low-light or fast-action situations, whether in auto-mode or manually altering the camera's settings.
