Da-Lite Screen Company Sales Team & Employees Attains LEED® AP Certification

Sales Consultants Sean Bullock, David Kolb, Fred Scruti, Jeff Siebert, David Sweeney and Andre White in addition to Adam Armstrong, Architectural Specialist and Dan Kramer, Sales Partner, have attained the LEED® AP certification. The LEED AP certification is awarded through the U.S. Green Building Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings accessible to everyone within a generation. USGBC is dedicated to expanding green building practices and education, and its LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™. “Here at Da-Lite we recognize the importance of obtaining the LEED AP accreditation in our industry. I’m extremely proud of those that have challenged themselves buy obtaining their LEED AP accreditation. It will put them and Da-Lite a step above the rest”, commented Blake Brubaker, Vice President of Sales, Da-Lite Screen Company. “LEED AP distinguishes the professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED Certification process and helps not only our audio visual dealers, integrators and consultants, but the architectural community as well,” continued Brubaker. According to the USGBC, the LEED® AP credential represents knowledge of the LEED Rating System and its application in practice.¬ LEED® APs facilitate the integrated design process and streamline the LEED Certification process. LEED AP accreditation will strengthen Da-Lite’s qualifications when responding to RFPs requiring LEED APs and provides additional consultative resources for green building as it relates to the company’s products when architects are preparing to design and build a LEED project. As more and more Da-Lite sales team become LEED® AP accredited, the company’s eco-friendly initiatives are reinforced. In 2008, Da-Lite launched its new Screen Green Exchange Program, attained multiple levels of GreenGuard® certification for its projection screen fabrics and recently obtained ISO 14001:2004 registration for its Environmental Management System. Da-Lite would like to congratulate the accomplished individuals on their commitment and perseverance in bringing the USBGC LEED® AP accreditation in their role for the company.
