Artison announced the introduction of their New LCR In-Wall speakers at CEDIA EXPO 2008 in Booth 710, Sept. 4-7 in Denver, Colorado. Engineered by world-renowned speaker designer Cary Christie and the Artison Design Team, the new In-Wall versions of the popular attachable LCRs Masterpiece, Portrait and Sketch are now available. The In-Wall LCRs allow integrators and designers more options for creating an aesthetically pleasing home theater look for their clients—especially in tight spaces where an in-wall installation is preferred. Just as with the attachable models, what distinguishes Artison’s full line of in-wall LCR speakers from all others available on the market is the company’s exclusive DualMono® Center Channel technology. This technology integrates the center channels into the upper portion of both the right and left speaker housing producing an identically matched monaural sound, effectively placing crisp, clear dialogue in the center of the screen, rather than above or below as with a typical center channel speaker. This eliminates the need for a separate center channel enclosure. The advantage: Easy to install and exceptional sound for movies, games or music. Audio for your front three channels, encased in just two slim in-wall cabinets. “No longer is it necessary to knock out what might be a structural stud to install a center channel speaker. Masterpiece In-Wall LCR The Masterpiece is Artison’s flagship In-Wall LCR designed for the most discriminating audiophile. The Masterpiece In-Wall LCR speakers are 31” high, 6.8” wide and 3.75” deep with Grille. Incorporating 5.25“ Kevlar Long Throw Midrange drivers and forward-firing Adjustable Super Audio Tweeters project the highest quality sound to a larger listening area than most speaker systems. Portrait In-Wall LCR The Portrait In-Wall LCR speakers are 27” high, 6.8”wide and 3.75” deep with Grille. They are engineered with two 4.5” Kevlar Long Throw Midrange drivers that use a fixed phase plug for excellent polar response to beyond 2KHz, with very low distortion to enable true reproduction of any soundtrack. Two 25mm Super Audio Tweeters offer a frequency response flat to 50KHz. The Portrait In-Wall LCRs are available for an MSRP of $2,000.00 / pair. Sketch In-Wall LCR Available at $1,350.00 per pair MSRP, the Sketch In-Wall LCR speakers are the same size as the Portrait In-Wall LCRs. Sketch offers a great option for the cost conscious client who still demands exceptional sound quality. The Sketch In-Wall LCRs incorporate two Polypropylene 4.5” inch woofers and 1” Silk Dome tweeters that, give the listener and outstanding home theater experience.
