Honeywell Pony Tail Adapter Brings Simplicity To Connecting HDMI And DVI Components

Crystal 7000 Series HDMI-DVI Pony Tail Adapter Eliminates Need For Rewiring, Assures Device Compatibility With Low Loss [The following is a release from Honeywell]

August 22, 2008

Honeywell has introduced an adapter that enables the low-loss, high-bandwidth transmission of uncompressed high definition content between HDMI and DVI components with minimal inconvenience. Unlike modular adapters that are difficult to integrate into an installation, Honeywell Crystal 7000 Series Pony Tail HDMI-DVI adapters are flexible, allowing the installer to easily hide the adapter while reducing stress at the point of the connection. These eight-inch cables are available with either DVI male to HDMI female or DVI female to HDMI female configurations for use with computers, TVs, DVD players, gaming stations, digital displays and other devices. Highlights of the adapter design include gold-plated connectors and a silver plated copper conductor to assure optimum signal transfer. The 100% foil shield features 25% overlap and a tinned copper braid shield to reject interference that could adversely impact video performance. The adapters are immediately available.
