The TX Series 1080p HDTVs (42”, 47” and 52”) and the 40” VK-40F580D HDTV/DVD combo player are designed for the consumer who wants to enjoy a superior home cinema experience and the very best in LCD technology -- even if purse strings are tight. The TX series TVs are the ideal centerpiece for any digital household, whether in a home theater setting, living room or large bedroom. All models provide a must-have array of HDTV features and connectors with superior Westinghouse performance and technology. The 42”, 47” and award-winning 52” TVs all feature: 1920 x 1080 resolution, the highest standard available to consumers for HD digital video display; an integrated ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM Tuner; ultra fast response times; and a full suite of connectors. The TX series also ups the ante with 1080Pure™ for 1080p resolution out of all HD connectors, including components and VGA, an ultra high 5000:1 contrast ratio, and four HDMI connectors. It also provides the consumer with multiple HD input connectors including 2 HDMI, an ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuner and preset and custom video modes for an exceptional viewing experience.
