NetStreams™, the global leader in networked A/V systems based on Internet Protocol (IP) standards, now offers its new multi-lingual GUI software package to the company’s international dealers and installers. Developed for NetStreams TouchLinX™ IP-Based in-wall LCD touch screen controllers, as well as third party web devices, the user interface can now be programmed in any of 16 languages, including French, German, Russian, or Chinese, providing end-users with a solution in their native language. Available only to authorized dealers, NetStreams is demonstrating the new DigiLinX Dealer Setup system configuration software at booth number 930 in the main hall, 2008 CEDIA Expo. “The international markets of Asia and Europe, especially in rapid growth economies like China and Russia, have been a tremendous growth engine for the company and continue to represent a fertile market for products like ours,” said Kevin Reinis, President and CEO of NetStreams. “Giving our installers the ability to customize each interface to suit the language needs of each user will enhance the end-users’ experience and give our dealers a competitive edge.” Part of the NetStreams’ DigiLinX™ IP-Based Multi-Room Audio, Video and Control solution, the new GUI is compatible with the TouchLinX TL700 and TL430, 7-inch and 4.3-inch LCD touch screens respectively, as well as third party web devices. The GUI data, such as artist, album, song, cover art and play list, will continue to be displayed in its native sourced language. The GUI can be programmed to display all accessible control functions in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Slovenian, or simplified Chinese characters.
