Triad's New InRoom Omni Special Edition Series Loudspeakers Boast A Bold, New Look

Company's InRoom Loudspeaker Sales Increase Given Current Market Trends [The following is a release from Triad Speakers]

September 15, 2008

Custom loudspeaker solution manufacturer Triad Speakers, Inc., is showcasing their newly styled InRoom Omni SE (Special Edition) series of loudspeakers at the 2008 CEDIA Expo in Denver, Colorado September 4-7. Triad will be exhibiting in the Main Hall of the Convention Center, booth number 550. The InRoom Omni SE series is a line of bookshelf loudspeakers designed for discriminating two-channel audio applications where better sound and higher output is desired, or in high quality home theater environments where something less than dramatic cinema-like volume levels are required. "We redesigned the look of the InRoom Omni SE series to make them blend that much more with the interior design décor trends taking place within the home. The lines of the cabinet are now gently tapered eliminating a big box look. These new styles herald design cues that will carry over into future Triad InRoom speaker models," says Triad's director of sales and marketing Paul Scarpelli. Triad president Larry Pexton added, "In-room loudspeakers are making a relative comeback given the decline of new construction jobs that our industry is experiencing; we are very optimistic about our future InRoom sales." For a much more appealing floor-standing speaker look, the new Omni SE will be available with the stand integrated into the body of the speaker cabinet. The stand picks up the same tapered look and adds a gentle scallop to its front base. Named InRoom Omni SE-IS, performance is identical to that of the bookshelf model. Standard height of the InRoom Omni SE-IS will be 43-1/4 inches tall, with custom sizing available as an option in 1-inch increments, up to 3-inches higher or 6-inches lower. These new InRoom Omni SE bookshelf and integrated stand series are available in two levels of performance (Silver and Gold). They incorporate 1-inch dome tweeters as well as newly developed 5.25-inch and 6.5-inch reed / paper cone woofers respectively – all made by Seas. The Omni SE series incorporates high-performance crossovers for high-resolution, extremely flat frequency response; 100 watts of power handling per speaker, and the ability to use bass equalization to achieve the performance of much larger speakers. MSRP of the InRoom Silver Omni SE is $800 with MSRP of the InRoom Gold Omni SE $900. MSRP of the InRoom Silver Omni SE-IS is $1,050 with MSRP of the InRoom Gold Omni SE-IS $1,150. The new Omni SE series are available in a wide variety of custom-matched colors at no extra charge, as well as custom-matched veneer finishes. The new InRoom Omni SE series is shipping now.
