(UEI) announced a new lineup of advanced retail remotes under the One For All® brand for distribution outside of North America. The Xsight™ line of advanced remote controls offers an exciting new out-of-the-box experience for consumers with both on-remote set up and Web-based personalization that are truly consumer friendly. Xsight can be set up in minutes with no need for instruction manuals by using the intuitive menu on the 2.2” color display; the process is simple and straightforward. For users who want to explore everything Xsight has to offer, UEI has developed the Web application EZ-RC™ that is built around a single consumer friendly interface for use by anyone who can surf the Web. Users create a personal account to begin. The application accepts any previously set up devices from the on-remote setup and then is able to add or change devices as well as personalize more advanced features such as favorites, profiles and activities. The entire process is extremely simple.
