[The following is a release from CINEAK]

November 3, 2008

The “Bruges” celebrates the heritage of the famed Belgian city and is available now as a stand-alone chair or can be configured into rows of seating for theater spaces. The distinct look of the Bruges helps to allow more flexibility in its placement. A dual motorized, independently controlled incline mechanism offers infinite comfort adjustments and allows the chair to be placed directly in front of a wall or furniture piece. CINEAK, the pre-eminent provider of custom-designed theater, lounge and modular sectional sofa seating, is proud to introduce the “Bruges.”

Designed in partnership with James Theobald, the “Bruges” chair combines CINEAK’s unparalleled European craftsmanship featuring a more traditional design perspective.

“I have always loved the quality and style of CINEAK’s product offerings, but felt we could include some design concepts that would reach out to a wider range of client design preferences” says Theobald. The “Bruges” chair caters towards a more classical/traditional design style, while ensuring the quality of materials and craftsmanship CINEAK has been providing in its products.

The “Bruges” chair is named after the enchanting and classical city of Brugge; which is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, it is sometimes referred to as "The Venice of the North" with architecture that truly reflects the medieval era of Western Europe, and is the epicenter of the finest chocolate in the world!
