Radiient Technologies announced it has been named an International CES Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its Roomcaster® early adapter kit, which enables consumers to convert existing wired audio components into a wireless 5.1 surround-sound system. Products entered in the prestigious CES Innovations program are judged by a prominent panel of industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press. Radiient’s Roomcaster early adapter kit consists of a source adapter and six speaker adapters, which consumers can attach to any brand of speakers and source devices to create a 5.1 wireless surround-sound system. “Innovation is what Radiient is all about, and we are thrilled to be recognized with an award honoring innovation,” said Jano Banks, Radiient’s president and CEO. “Radiient’s goal is to reduce and eventually remove all AV cables from consumers’ homes to make it easy for anyone to experience high-quality home entertainment.” Established in 1976, the CES Innovations Award program recognizes outstanding achievements in product design and engineering.
