Infinity Systems now offers an expanded lineup of wireless subwoofers. The PSW310W, PS212W and PS210W subwoofers make it easy for consumers to integrate a subwoofer into their home theater or music systems, and provide greater placement options by eliminating the need to run any connecting wires from an audio/video receiver (or other audio source) to the subwoofer. The PSW310W, PS212W and PS210W all include a compact transmitter, unit, which utilizes the 2.4GHz frequency range to ensure clear, reliable transmission from the source to the wireless-transceiver unit that is built into the subwoofers. The PSW310W incorporates a 400-watt amplifier, a 10-inch woofer featuring proprietary Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm (CMMD®) driver material, dual 10-inch CMMD passive radiators, and Infinity®-exclusive Bass Optimization System™ technology, which corrects for low-frequency room resonances. The PS212W employs a built-in 400-watt amplifier and a 12-inch woofer featuring proprietary Metal Matrix Diaphragm™ (MMD®) driver material. The PS212W utilizes a 300-watt amplifier and 10-inch MMD woofer. All three subwoofers offer a full complement of controls and connection options, and can also be used as conventional wired subwoofers, if desired. The PSW310W is available in a high-gloss-black or cherry-wood-veneer finish. The PS212W and PS210W have a black-ash finish. Suggested retail prices are as follows: PSW310W, $1,199; PS212W, $679; PS210W, $549. JBL ES250PW and ES150PW Wireless Subwoofers The JBL ES250PW and ES150PW wireless powered subwoofers can be used with a custom-installation, home theater or music system without running any connecting wires through walls or under floors, making installation simple. Both subwoofers include a transmitter module that connects to an audio/video receiver or other source, and operates in the 2.4GHz frequency range for clear, reliable signal transmission to the subwoofers’ built-in wireless receiver unit. Both models feature a full complement of controls and connection options. for optimal performance in any system. The subwoofers are designed to deliver exceptional sound. quality. The ES250PW incorporates a built-in 400-watt amplifier and 12-inch woofer, and the ES150PW features a 300-watt amplifier and 10-inch woofer. The woofer cones are made from proprietary PolyPlas™ polymer-coated-cellulose-fiber cone material, which provides superior articulation and higher playback levels. Both models incorporate a specially shaped JBL® FreeFlow™ bass port that is tuned to the woofer and enclosure for extended low-frequency response and higher efficiency. The ES250PW and ES150PW feature distinctive new styling, with tapered enclosures and a front baffle that curves into the top surface. The ES250PW and ES150PW are available in black with a charcoal center section, and cherry with a charcoal center. The JBL ES250PW is currently available at a suggested retail price of $729, and the ES150PW is currently available at $599 suggested retail.
