Innovative Switchers Integrate Sources And Hi-Def Displays

At CES, Gefen demonstrates several new HDMI switchers allowing you to connect multiple Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, digital video recorders and game systems to one or more HDMI displays or projectors. TV Multi-Format Switcher Allows 11 different audio/video sources to be connected to one HDMI flat panel display, perfect for combining computers with home entertainment systems. It connects two s-video, two composite, two component, one DVI/VGA and three HDMI devices to any hi-def display using the HDMI format. Users switch between sources using an IR remote, enabling computers, VCRs, DVD players, games, television programs and movies to be accessed instantly with no downtime. 8x4 HDMI Matrix Connects eight HDMI sources to four HDMI displays, delivering 1080p full HD visuals to their assigned display with multi-channel audio. Ideal for any venue that requires a wide variety of hi-def sources to be accessed from multiple displays, this Matrix is rack mountable for simple installation. 8x4 HDMI over CAT-5 Matrix Gives the same access but with the ability to extend all four HDMI displays up to 150-feet (50m) at 1080p full HD, making it well suited for entertainment installations with rack-mounted equipment in a remote closet or basement. High definition resolutions from 480p to 1080i can be extended up to 330-feet (100m). 8x8 HDMI Matrix Delivers 1080p full HD resolutions from any eight sources to any eight HDMI displays or projectors. It offers a true plug and play method of assigning sources to one of multiple displays in the home. Multi-channel digital audio is transmitted to each display along with video in the HDMI format.
