Instruments that make music, bodies that make voice, ears that hear, are not hard edged. Round curving forms abound in the musical world. The pipes of the organ, the body of an acoustic guitar, the cylindrical shapes of percussion, brass and woodwind instruments all confirm a simple truth: it is not hip to be square. Why then have we, for decades, listened to music from boxes? Krueger Audio, LLC is launching their exciting new Krueger Audio Technologies line of loudspeakers at CES 2009. Krueger Audio Technologies loudspeakers embrace the beauty of the timeless musical instruments and the infinitely timeless human body. Krueger Audio Technologies strives to provide a connection between sound and mind. After years of research, and endless trial-and-error, the Krueger Audio Technologies loudspeakers conform to the smooth flowing lines of musical instruments. Their design avoids parallel walls and diffraction effects by doing away with the typical box-like enclosure. In its place is an organic design that is pleasing to both the ear and the eyes. The loudspeaker’s ultra-narrow frontal presence eliminates baffle diffraction and creates an extremely open soundstage. The patent pending enclosure loading borrows from traditional labyrinth and transmission line designs and then departs entirely, applying new technology. The resultant bass is clean, deep, and fast, with minimal driver excursion. Midrange and treble is lifelike and crisp. The lifelike imaging is holographic, believable, emotional, and compelling. Krueger Audio Technologies loudspeakers are visually compelling, instantly understood, and reshaping sound reproduction. All of the Krueger Audio Technologies loudspeaker models, with metal or synthetic tweeters, will withstand certain environmental pressures such as indirect sunlight and rain. The woofers are either coated paper or Aluminum alloy with rubber surrounds. All of the enclosures and crossover networks are fully sealed with the exception of the bass exits. In the rare event of rain or water intrusion, they can be emptied out with no effect on the loudspeaker performance.
