SENSIO Technologies Inc. ("SENSIO") (TSX Venture Exchange Inc.: SIO), creator of the SENSIO® 3D technology, is pleased to have contributed its technology for the presentation of the very first Live 3D event. The football game was broadcast in more than 80 digital movie theaters in the United States, using SENSIO® 3D decoding technology. “We are extremely happy to be a part of this event, which confirms the trend and interest in Live 3D. With the increasing enthusiasm from the public and movie industry players, we are confident that this event will be the first of many,” explains Nicholas Routhier, CEO. On a global level, SENSIO is the only technology that enables 3D content broadcast live to be deployed across a network of movie theaters. The technology’s superior image quality combined with its robustness and reliability has enabled SENSIO to stand out and position itself as a market leader. (“Cinedigm”) (NASDAQ: CIDM) using CineLiveTM, a product developed exclusively for Cinedigm by SENSIO and International Datacasting Corporation (“IDC”) (TSX: IDC). The product enables either 2D or 3D content, such as sporting events and concerts, to be broadcast live in digital movie theaters. CineLiveTM uses the SENSIO® 3D movie decoding technology and the IDC SuperFlex DVB-S2 broadband transmission technology. It is designed to work with Cinedigm’s satellite network and digital movie systems fitted with 3D technology.
