Vector is a trio of compact loud-speakers from a long-established expert in loudspeaker design. This system blends minimalist styling with innovative materials and elite acoustic engineering. Vector raises the standards of sophistication and performance at the affordable end of the home theatre loudspeaker market. Inspired by the proven technologies and elegant contours of the award- winning Radius satellite loudspeaker systems, Vector delivers class beating sound quality with a product which is as clear and musical as it is easy on the eye. Vector is comprised of a wall-mounting compact satellite, the V10; a matching centre-channel satellite, the V20, and a compact 100-Watt active subwoofer, the VW-8. The V10 and V20 cabinets are of high-density molded polymer with a wonderfully tactile exterior skin that is soft to the touch. The MDF front baffles are coated in a rich high-gloss black or a high-gloss white lacquer. This MDF/polymer cabinet is internally braced for increased rigidity to reduce unwanted resonances. Each driver is secured to the front baffle by a thru-bolt that is threaded through to the back of the enclosure. The esthetic result is the absence of screw fixings on the fascia, enhancing Vector’s stylishly clean, upscale appearance. V10 Overview Although the Vector V10 is designed primarily for use with the V20 and VW-8 in an ultra compact multichannel home theatre package, its clarity and deep bass make it ideal for music as well. It uses a 4-inch MMP®II bass driver complemented by a 1-inch C-CAM® gold dome tweeter to provide clarity and frequency response extending from 65 Hz to well over 30 kHz. A single point fixing (1/4-inch x 20TPI thread) is provided for wall mounting. Combining classy boutique design and high fidelity sound, the new Vector range achieves a level of design integrity, performance and versatility that raises the bar for the entry-level compact sub/sat loudspeaker system market.
