In a first for the home entertainment industry, Paramount is using cutting-edge technology on some of its most popular DVD and Blu-ray releases to take fans even deeper into the worlds of hit movies such as Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra. The DVD and Blu-ray packages for each of these films feature groundbreaking augmented reality technology that allows viewers to interact with 3D, holographic images using a special website and their computer’s webcam.
