From 3D TV With Glasses To 3D TV Without Glasses

3DFusion has reached a technological breakthrough allowing it to offer Perfect Picture 3D TV without glasses. According to the company the 3DFusion 3DFMax™ image optimization technology enables the first broadcast-ready 3D picture quality, viewed without 3D glasses. For the first time glasses-less 3D TV is ready for AD network signage, entertainment and scientific applications in the commercial marketplace. 3DFusion is bringing auto-stereoscopic 3D (AS 3D) imaging without glasses out of the lab and into the marketplace. 3DFusion’s proprietary technology addresses key picture quality issues which have, up until now, limited the development and growth of 3D TV without glasses. The company says that all this is not only without 3D glasses but also without headaches, without video artifacts, without ghosting, and without "sweet spots." 3DFusion claims that it has produced the first glasses-free 3D picture with the comfort level comparable to conventional 2D TV. By realizing that “The content is the King” early on, 3DFusion says that it has developed highly efficient mostly automated solutions for 2D to 3D conversion for both traditional 3D with glasses as well as its own glasses-free format. It also has developed real-time stereoscopic (with glasses) to auto-stereoscopic (no glasses) conversion technology.
