Surrounded: 7.1 Cinema & Beyond

Surrounded: 7.1 cinema and beyond was a day and half event at Dolby Laboratories, Inc. headquarters in San Francisco. A small group of media and influencers were invited to experience the passion of sound through the eyes of Dolby Laboratories, Inc. Dolby's guests had the opportunity to not only learn about Dolby’s rich history in sound but learn about how Dolby technologies reach across different mediums in sound, cinema, and imaging. The kick-off event for Surrounded: 7.1 cinema and beyond was Filmmaker’s Forum The Impact of 7.1 Surround Sound on 2D/3D Movie. This was a panel discussion lead and Moderated by Dolby’s Stuart Bowling, Worldwide Technical Marketing Manager. The panel included: Erik Aadhal, Eric Brevig, Michael Semanick, Kinson Tsang, and Rohan Sippy. This was streamed live on facebook.com/dolby.
