The Professional Calibration Training Seminar presented by ISF and nick-named the ISF Crash Course is designed to quickly bring you to a level of competence and confidence in calibrating all the important performance aspects of current generation video displays and projectors. This course is appropriate for those not yet experienced in video calibration, as well as those professionals who want to refresh their skills on the latest video calibration technologies, tools, and calibration techniques. This course covers everything from video basics to advanced stereoscopic 3D calibration of display technologies including LCD, Plasma, DLP Projector, video processors, how to use the latest calibration software and various video generators. You will: * Learn the performance factors that determine the image quality of displays and projectors. * Become familiar with the calibration characteristics of different display technologies. * Gain hands-on experience using hardware and software that is available to assure productive and accurate display adjustments. * Walk through the complete video calibration process, discussing each step to be performed. * Calibrate different display technologies, at a number of individual hands"?on calibration practice stations. * Experience the advantage of a customer calibration report. * Our knowledgeable instructor's will help answer your questions including how to market this process to any potential clients. Graduates of the professional course earn CEDIA CEU credits, are entitled to test out of the ISF Level One Course to gain entrance to ISF Level II at a discounted rate, and receive a discount certificate for ISF-Commercial courses. The Professional Calibration Training Course (9AM - 6PM w/lunch provided) is $399 and includes workbook, lunch, and discount certificates. Audio Crash Course HAA Crash Course on Professional Home Acoustics The one-day HAA Crash Course on Professional Home Acoustics or as we call it the HAA Crash Course is a new concept to bring audio and acoustics to a larger audience. The process flow, which includes a Sonic Evaluation phase, Component Verification phase, Design Adjustment Phase, and Electronic Calibration phase, is consistent with CEDIA doctrine and is complimentary to the use the automated calibrations systems found in many receivers. The game changing feature of the course is the ability to complete a system tuning process within a 2 hour timeframe. The Workshop is a one-day class which prepares the typical installer to begin calibrating and understanding acoustics immediately. Enabled by the latest in workflow based instruction on their laptop, the calibrator in the field is led through the workflow collecting data and making adjustments culminating in the thorough report documenting performance that in turn can be presented to the consumer. This is a high value service that clearly enhances performance and adds profitability to every custom project. The student is led through an all "Hands on" workshop learning all the skills required for success: critical listening, verification of equipment functionality, system layout and design, basic calibration of pre/pro settings, and the creation of the reports for the customer. The Professional Calibration Training Course (9AM - 6PM w/lunch provided) is $399 and includes workbook, lunch, and discount certificates. Classes are limited to 12 students each so sign up early to reserve your seat. You can take either course or both.
