Experience The First-Ever Wireless, Interference-Free, 7.1 Loudspeaker System At High End Munich, May 3-6, 2012

Industry pioneers have joined forces launching the Wireless Speaker and Audio (WiSA™) Association to advance the adoption of wirelessly transmitted high definition surround-sound audio for home theater applications. The WiSA Association will deliver the industry’s first interoperability specification and compliance testing programs for manufacturers of high-performance wireless speakers, DTVs, Blu-ray Disc players, and other consumer electronics (CE) devices, to ensure the quality and reliability of the wireless link between these devices. The Association’s advisory board is led by speaker and home theater device manufacturers Aperion Audio, DEI Holdings, Inc. (parent company to Polk® Audio and Definitive Technology), GGEC, Hansong Electronics Co., Klipsch® Group, Inc., Meiloon Industrial Co., Pioneer Corporation, SHARP Corporation, Silicon Image and Summit Semiconductor. WiSA Association president, Jim Venable, will be at the High End audio tradeshow in Munich from May 3-6, 2012, to share the Association’s mission and value for the EU market with European speaker manufacturers and would welcome the opportunity to give you a live demo where you can: Experience a hands-on (ears-on) demo of the first-ever wireless, interference-free, 7.1 speaker system with cinema-like quality surround sound in a home theater setting.
