Panasonic Closes Plasma Plant In China

Panasonic has announced that it is in the process of closing its Plasma assembly plant in Shanghai, China. This particular plant is the company's only facility that is totally dedicated, to the production of Plasma displays. A company spokesman says this closing is not the end. Panasonic has invested billions into R&D for Plasma and will continue to produce them in another plant in China and their main production facility in Japan.
